The link above is something I'm interested recently. The reason is very simple: I need to complete a final project, which is about renewing the surface of a building. There is a special phrase in Architecture to call surface: building envelope.
As matter of fact, this building is located in the campus of Feng Chia University. My intention is to use this idea to make an new entrance. You can see this entrance is like a twist paper, and the direction is pointed out by the way it is twisted.
For the following 3 days, I probably can only sleep 3 hours per day to finish drawing, model, etc. The hardest part is the last pic in the bottom.
Wish me good luck then! Or viel Gluck in German.

It looks very difficult.
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't like this building,it looks strange.
I relly like the idea of making an new enterance of FCU.(You mean the main gate of FCU, don't you?) I don't appreciate the main gate since I've become a student of FCU. I think the design of main gate is old-fashion! I think your idea is modern and chic! I'm really looking forward to see your final project being completed.
ReplyDeleteHowever, only one thing I concerned about is our school buildings are too old-fashion to match your new design. You probably can renew the surfaces of other buildings in FCU campus(if you have time)! hahaha! Remember to share your project when it's completed. GOOD LUCK!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's very difficult.
ReplyDeleteBut I like this building,it's very special and fashion. It's cool.
Good luck to you.
Have a nice day.
